On November 30, 2020, Mottrol Inc., received the letter of appreciation from the Minister of Defense for Parts Localization and Development.

Every year, the Ministry of National Defense awards this to companies that have contributed greatly to the localization of parts for Army, Air Force, and Navy military investigations.

Regarding the development of servo valve parts for K1 MBT, after signing an agreement with the Army Military Command, Mottrol  developed six prototypes that standardized quickly after development and operation tests from July, 2017 to May, 2020.

Especially, Mottrol has contributed to improving the utilization rate and operation maintenance of military equipment by developing localizied servo valves for K1/KA1 MBT, Korea's main tank.
